Change bank account number
Change your bank account number
If you wish, we can pay your Child benefit to a bank account, instead of by cheque. The advantages?
The payment is safer and faster:
The family allowance is in your account within 2 working days, a circular cheque can take up to 10 days to clear. There is a waiting period of 3 to 6 months if a circular cheque is lost or not received before it can be reissued.
Payment is more economical:
Certain banks may charge fees when cashing a circular cheque. A deposit into an account is always free. You can ask your bank for more information.
The payment cannot be suspended because of the non-collection of a circular cheque:
In case of payment by circular cheque, the payment of your child benefit will be blocked immediately, as soon as 2 consecutive payments are not cashed.
Child benefit is paid to the person designated by the beneficiaries among themselves, or to the person who replaces them in the family. So we can only pay your Child Benefit to a bank account in the name of the designated beneficiary or in the name of both beneficiaries.
With the form below you can give us the bank account number.
You do not have a Belgian bank account number? Then send an e-mail to vlaanderen@infino.be. We will be happy to help you.
